Monthly Workshops

Monthly workshops are presented in community or school settings.  Session topics are determined by the interests and needs of participating families.  Workshop topics are wide ranging but often related to issues of Student Achievement, Exploring and Funding Post-Secondary Opportunities, Budgeting and Financial Management, Family Strengths and Weaknesses, Impacts of Trauma, etc.


Bi-weekly Small groups

Small group sessions facilitate social and peer support, increases in confidence and skill building.  Families share challenges and success stories and identify common issues and allies.  Social networking and the development of social capital is reinforced.


Mentoring/Coaching

Mentoring facilitates individualized coaching and direct accountability to address individual family needs or concerns.


Duration of Services

  • Schools

    • Districts have historically contracted our services for the length of an academic year, with some contracts recurring for consecutive academic years.  An ideal term of service would be a recurring contract over three years, providing significant opportunity for sustained improvements in experiences of families as well as validate the effectiveness of our engagement efforts.

  • Community-Based Organizations

    • Our approach is designed to specifically cater to the particular needs of community-based organizations and their participants.

  • Individuals and Families

    • We tailor our services to directly appeal to the interests of individuals and families we are serving. through unique interaction.
